If your idea of the perfect holiday is lounging on a warm and beautiful beach, then you might want to check Trip Advisor’s Traveller Choice Awards 2016. Each year Trip Advisor asks its users to vote for their favourite destinations in a number of categories, and this year’s Best Beach awards revealed some fantastic locations.
According to votes, the best beach in the world is Grace Bay in the Caribbean, followed by Baia do Sancho in Brazil and Playa Paraiso in Cuba. Only one European beach made it into the top ten; Playa de Ses Illetes in Spain came in seventh place. Unfortunately no UK beaches made the World Wide or European lists, but Britain’s best beach was voted as Woolacombe Beach in Devon.
